Welcome Spring

Spring is here, although a little later than usual for me! I look outside my back door and see my quince has only just developed leaves and buds, whereas this time last year it was a profusion of blooms. Still the sudden warmth and glimpses of color are very welcome with the promise of things to come.

Many of us welcome the Spring for the photo opportunities it affords us, better lighting, new scenes and backdrops, garden or park fun with the family. There are so many different aspects of our lives to document. I am getting ready to plant my seeds and want to make a little gardening album, so my photos this Spring will be of earth, pots and seeds and maybe the odd weed that appears overnight!

New scrapping goodies are out there whether digital or paper, enticing us to start recording all these activities and suddenly the possibilities are endless! What will you be doing, recording and scrapping this Spring? Maybe start an art journal or create some home decor pieces or just perfect your photography? Whatever you are doing I hope the sun shines on you and takes you creatively into summer!
