A good adhesive does more than keep your pages together, it binds your memories to paper. Memories like children growing up and moving out, holiday memories, or even your co-workers crazy antics to name just a few. Keep reading the designers notes for insightful pointers on using different mediums and adhesives for your next holiday project!

Christmas Blessings by Melissa Bullock
Supplies: Paper, Stickers, Ribbon: Webster’s Pages, Alphabet Stickers: My Mind’s Eye, October Afternoon, Rub-On Alphabet: American Crafts, Flowers: Prima Marketing, Specialty Ink: Smooch Spritz (Clearsnap), Pens: Sakura Micron, Adhesive: Therm O Web, Other: sewing machine.
Design Notes: Before machine stitching the fabric strips, attach them with 1/4” Super Tape, pleating as you adhere. Try to place the Super Tape off to the side so when you machine stitch the needle doesn’t get stuck. (Machine stitching tip – keep nail polish remover and cotton balls nearby so if the needle does get gummed up you can quickly clean it off and keep sewing)
Journaling: Hectic travel and furious shopping can easily take the joy out of the holidays. The real fun is being with our girls and doing activities together. For them I am forever grateful. They are proof of God’s grace.

The Future is Yours by Karen Taylor
Supplies: Paper: GCD Studios, Specialty Ink, Glitter, Ink, Glue Gloss: Clearsnap, Alphabet: Maya Road, October Afternoon, Chipboard: Want 2 Scrap, Mesh: Therm O Web, Other: trim, staples, sewing machine, thread.
Editor's Notes: Sometimes, when adhering items to textured surfaces, it's hard and sometimes impossible to make it stick- such as on shiny, glittered, or embossed papers.
Journaling: Do not follow where the path may lead. Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail. Emerson.

Gnomey Claus Card by Brianne Nevill
Supplies: Cardstock: Core’dinations, Adhesive: Zots, Tape Runner XL (both by Therm O Web), Flocking: Our Craft Lounge. Tools: Electronic Die Cut Machine: Silhouette SD.
Design Notes: I love the card templates available for the Silhouette SD. This little gnome makes a perfect Christmas card for any child or the young at heart. Adding a little flocking to the white cardstock gives the appearance of white fur and adds dimension to card, as well as fun!
