Chic Street

  Jennifer Wuthrich

Back to school for many of us, if it hasn’t happened, it is about to happen and that “back to school” shopping is something that we just can’t avoid! I am not much of a crowd person, so I really have to gear up to fight the crowd in order to get all of the supplies that my children will need for the school year.

Then after getting the markers, pencils, notebooks and tissues…there is the “back to school” clothing shopping. Each year as school approaches we try on all of our clothes from last year…and it never ceases to amaze me just how much the kids grow during the summer.

So it is off to the store we go to get new pants, shorts, tee-shirts, polos, dresses, and the basic necessities it takes to clothe your children for school. This year while looking for new sizes my mind wandered, as it often does, to scrapbooking!

Journaling: Always dare to dream big! and know we are here to catch you if you ever fall. 6/07

Design note: I love how on a 6x12 your photo can be become the main focus of your page.

Dream by Jennifer Wuthrich. Supplies: Software: Adobe Photoshop, Digital kit: Sun Porch by Amy Teets, font: Freestyle Script.

Design Note:  I confess.  It took me 3 layouts to really feel good about this different size.  But once I finished this one, I went nuts creating an entire album.  Give it a try!

Stand Alone by Dora Phillips.  Supplies: Digital kit:  Festival by Shabby Princess.

Design notes: Add some dimension to your page with lots of layers and distressing.

Jump into Life by Renee' Morris-Dezember. Supplies: Paper: Sweetwater, Button, Frame, Twill: other.
