Card Corner

  Di Hickman

Salut, aloha, ciao, hi, and hola! However you say hello, just sending a card to say "hey, how are you doing?" can really brighten someone's day. Whether its a close friend, someone you recently met or someone you haven't contacted in a while. From a semi-formal greeting to humorous, these cards can really shine! Especially when you see the face of the recipient light up!

Design notes:  I love the look of stitching! I use my Zig pens to create stitching on many of my projects.

Hi purse card by Keely Yowler.  Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill, Patterned Paper: ProvoCraft, Tag: ProvoCraft, Pen: Zig, Ribbon: Offray, Alpha Stickers: Creative Imaginations.

Editor's note:  Look at the fabulous texture Jolene achieves.  It is what really makes a handmade card stand out from the store bought ones.

Hi by Jolene Johnston. Supplies: Cardstock: Die Cuts With a View, Patterned Paper: Daisy D’s, Flowers: Prima, Ink: Tsukineko, Brad: JoAnn's, Chipboard: Fancy Pants, Alpha: American Crafts, Ribbon: Offray, Paint: Making Memories.

Editor's note:  Look at all the detail!  Glitter, embossed flowers, ribbons--just fabulous.

Floral Hi by Pearl Liu.  Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill, Patterned Paper: DCWV, Flowers: Prima, Stickers: Making Memories, Other: Brads, Ribbon.
