The Often Missed

We all do it…or rather we all don’t do it. There is some block whether emotional, inspirational, plain forgetfulness or some other freeze that occurs when it comes to scrapping someone or something in particular. So, we simply don’t do it or do it so rarely, it seems as though it has never been done before!! For some of us we don’t even think to scrap it, perhaps the subject is not worthy to others in our opinion or we are shy of scrapping that person or thing. If we do, maybe we let a bit of ourselves out at the same time and that may not be comfortable. The subject may themselves be reluctant to be scrapped. For myself and many others, that someone is our other half, our life partner…so, here are some of those “people and things” who don’t often get scrapped, if at all.

Journaling:
“Why.. don't I scrap you more often? Am
I scared to share you with the world.....”
Design
Notes: I find it hard to scrap my man.
Perhaps because he finds scrapping silly and
irrelevant to himself? I kept the layout
fairly simple with a cluster of elements…but
maybe a piece of me is there in my layout?

Journaling:
“My favourite picture of you”
Design
Notes:
These bold colors and fun embellishments
just leap from the page! |

Editor’s
Notes: A simple, but richly coloured
layout with the overlapped and angled frames
focusing the attention on the photo of a man
not often scrapped. Perhaps a case of the
“maybe one day I’ll scrap it”?

Always by Amanda Thorderson. Supplies:
