Everyone Needs
Friends
Sue Wood

 |
Everybody loves to have someone to call friend, from the tiniest tot who loves to play, to the oldest granny who spends time relating a treasury of words.
Also, there is silent companionship when a friend is much needed.
We share secrets, console heartache, rejoice, and have fun times with friends. Some are lifelong buddies, others people who slip into our lives and quietly fade into the background until we are
reacquainted and share the events that brought us together at first.
When we spend time scrapbooking we are reminding ourselves of times spent not only with family but also with friends. Times we really don’t want to forget because in a moment of loneliness we can find a friend in our scrapbook pages.

The flowers that appear to be layered on the orange strip of paper are actually a part of the patterned
paper. I just cut around them.

Uncle Dooey by Brianne Mclean. Supplies:
Paper: BasicGrey, Stickers:
Making Memories, Buttons: Sweetwater.
Journaling: I was worried at first you wouldn’t remember your Uncle Stu from his last visit you were only three months old then, It took you a few days but soon you couldn’t get enough of your Uncle Dooey’:
Editor's note:
A great way to crop a photo is to enlarge it and use the faces as the real focal point almost as if peering through a window. With this so prominent it almost embellishes itself and (as doesn’t happen enough in scrapbooking) the photo is the main focus of the page.
