  Auntie Digi

Well digidarlings, its Auntie Digi here again.

My my how the month flies by, do you find that? Well this month has come around pretty quick and I know from your layouts and comments that you have all been pretty busy with vacations, the kids, CHA and other entertainments (haha). So some easy listening for you this month. Or should I say some easy viewing. Thought I’d give away a few of my Digi secrets to you all, so you can have a bit of fun and learn some stuff too.

There is a lot of information out there on the Internet and I have sifted through some of it to find links to tutorials to help you in your scrapbooking work. Whether you are into designing your own or you just like to play with toys, I will show something for everyone.

There are a lot of free dedicated to Photoshop, Paintshoppro, and even the Gimp sites out there. Offering tutorials, brushes, actions, styles and tubes. Great stuff. So here we go I will start with Photoshop offerings as most questions asked me are about Photoshop in one form or another.

500ml Brushes - Original and Free Photoshop Brushes and Stock Photography A great site with lots of brushes to use in your work. The best way to use these is to have a folder outside of the actual Adobe Photoshop folder and label it ps brushes. Plonk them in there and when you want to use a brush navigate in PS to load brushes and then navigate through browser to new folder. This is best done because if you put them all in the actual Adobe PS brushes folder they load every time you use Photoshop and they can seriously slow down your PC’s memory and speed. This is the same for most of the stuff you can add in. Keep it in separate folders and load as you go along.

Adobe - Adobe Exchange beta Here is a fabulous resource for downloading all kinds of free stuff from Adobe. All you have to do is sign up, log in and then download away. My favorite section to navigate to is Photoshop, then choose styles. There are some really great styles that deliver everything from glittery gold to clear glass effects.

Balloons tutorial This is a great little site with a lot of hints, tips and tutorials for Photoshop and elements, but this little tutorial in particular will come in very handy Hot on its trail is a great site for tubes that also come in psd format for use in both PaintshopPro and Photoshop Graphics for tubes in psp and psd's for Paintshop. Graphics for tubes in psp and psd's for Paintshop

Lastly we have a good tutorial site for you PSP users, mostly devoted to Corel PSP V and above still useable in other versions.   Paint Shop Pro - Photo-Editing and Web Graphics Tutorials

I am hoping to bring these little treats to you every so often as we all love free stuff and to learn something new. Please remember to give credit to all these hardworking folks who bring these things to you, when you have a finished LO. Try sending them a little thank you and a sample of what you have made with their gifts; they are only too pleased to have the acknowledgement.

So its tatty bye from me Auntie Digi sending you my lipstick kisses and ample cuddles wherever you are on this planet (or off it). Love you all my darlings,
