The Showroom

 Dora Phillips

Even though I adore the Paper Trunk designs, that is not my favorite thing about the company.  These gorgeous papers with such excellent heavy quality are all on recycled paper.  Yep, its true--fabulous and environmentally friendly.  I like to think that the papers I bought years ago in a "what was I thinking" moment and then (gulp) tossed in the recycle bin have now been reborn into these fabulous papers that I am using and using!

Designer’s notes: Paper Trunk won me over immediately as they had 3 things I love in my patterned paper, thick cardstock weight, great texture and a solid on the reverse! I love the prints and that each of the lines works well together. Loved the variety of prints and styles, perfect for any scrapbooker, and great for cards too!

Ollie by Di Hickman. Supplies: Papers: Paper Trunk, Chipboard: Lil Davis, Rub-on: BasicGrey, Font: Steelfish.

Designer’s note: I loved the leather look of this paper and the rustic tones. I knew it would be perfect for a simple card for a friend. I used the pounce tool to edge the paper doing a faux stitch. The thickness of this paper and its texture was perfect for this effect.

Be Inspired Card by Michelle Boeckermann. Supplies: Paper: Paper Trunk, Other: Suede ribbon, Rub-on.

Journaling: YOU have grown into a beautiful young lady YOU have a smile that would brighten any room YOU have such a soft and warm heart I love YOU.

Design notes: This is my first with Paper Trunk and I have to say, it won't be the last. The texture, 2 sided cardstock is great to work with. Everything comes together so easy.

YOU by Christa Parker. Supplies: Paper: Paper Trunk, Rub-ons: Die Cut with a View, Cardstock: Paper Trunk, Chipboard numbers: Making Memories, Paint: Making Memories, Stamp: Making Memories.

Designer note: This new line by Paper Trunk is a heavy double-sided cardstock that performs beautifully for decoupage work. This star will go perfectly in my bedroom, which is a pale blue with brown accents.

Star by Janice Badger. Supplies: Paper: Paper Trunk, Ink: Clearsnap, Metal Star: Craft Supply, Other: Mod Podge.
