Pet Park

 Michelle Boeckermann

You know you love to do it! That is torture our pets with cute costumes. Let’s face it, some of us would do it all the time if we could. But thanks to Halloween we get a good excuse to play with them and fun outfits and head gear. I know it’s always a fit of giggles playing with our dogs and dressing them up, watching them react, and watching the kids react to them in their costumes. I personally use as many holidays as possible to dress up and have fun with little costume ideas. I mean, I am a mother of teens who hide from my camera. My new subjects, unable to escape or talk back, are my pets! I’m hopelessly in love with playing with them. So are some of our readers! Di’s dog River likes to apparently “talk back” which makes for an even funnier layout. Ahhh the pure pleasure and fun our pets truly are.

November we are going to look at pets and their treats. I know I should have bought stock in flip chips. My dogs love them to pieces… literally!

Then December we have a guest writer doing the Christmas addition of Pet Park. Elmira Reindeer will be hunting up some adorable pictures of pets ready for Santa! It’s sure to be a very cute article. Check out our calls to get your submissions in and maybe you will see your baby(s) here at pet park!

Design notes: Initially when I looked these photos over I didn't notice the tongue peeking out as though she's blowing a little raspberry "too many photo's Mom!”

River's New Trick by Di Hickman. Digital Supplies: Paper, Ribbon and Tab: Holiday Sampler by Shabby Princess, Notepaper: Sweet Summer Bliss kit by Shelle Pukas.

Design note: Maggie was standing in a spot that was terrible for the background when I took this photo. I used photoshop elements 4.0 to remove the background and enhance the shadow in the picture. I also used it to put the title right on the cardstock.

Batmag by Michelle Boeckermann. Supplies: Papers: Imaginesce, Cardstock: Carolee’s, Cardboard and Glossy stickers: Imaginesce, Daisy D’s.

Journaling: trick or treat! (hidden- Bruce age 2.5, Calvin age 2.5, Lu age 1.5 years old)

Design note: Our little dogs love to see the kids trick or treating on Halloween. To get even more in the spirit, we dressed them up. Hold lots of treats to keep your dogs focused on the camera. It also helps to have good natured dogs.

Please Come To Our House by Pam Sandy. Supplies: Paper: Daisy D's, Cosmo Cricket, Cardstock Stickers: Daisy D's, Ribbon: Maya Road, American Crafts, Creative Impressions, Brads: Making Memories, Flowers: Doodlebug Designs, Ink: Rubber Stampede, Thread: Coats and Clarks.
