Welcome to Lift Lane, where we showcase the talents of our community, with creations they made for Saturday Night Scrap. This month we’re showcasing a layout with clustered elements. Remember to head to Town Square on Saturday nights for the lift of the week, then submit your creation to
janice@scrapstreet.com for consideration for publication.

Design
notes:
I sized and printed out the Crafty Boy
elements from the digital kit, cut them out
of the paper, and layered them into the
frame. The red line around the photo helps
draw your eye around through the descriptive
words.

This Boy by Janice Badger. Supplies: Paper: Stampin' Up, Rub-ons: Daisy D's, Digital elements: Crafty Boy by Kim Crothers, Pen: Zig.

Aspect of the lift layout that inspired you:
I liked the bundle of elements, photo edging and words on the original layout, so went with that for my scraplift. I used a photo of a French "petit coin" (little corner).
Design
notes:
I wanted to focus attention on the picture so used the elements to make the
frame and clustered the elements to the
sides. |

French Paths by Katey Green. Supplies: Digital kit: Quincy Garden Club by Amanda Thorderson at Digitals, Photo: David Niblack, Font:Santa's
Sleigh.
Journaling:
I just used French words to describe the
photograph, translated they are shutters,
stones, pebbles, walls, old and flowers.

Untitled, by Janneke Smit.
Supplies:
Nautical is Nice
kit by Sue Wood, Software: Adobe Photoshop
CS2.
Aspect of the
lift layout that inspired you:
I was inspired
by the close up photo and the drawn border
that is interrupted for the embellishments.
Design notes:
I did not think
this page needed a title or any journaling.
It is just a photo of my dear son in the
pool.
