Season of Change

 Michelle Boeckermann

Exploring the splendor of the season can be more than the traditional values associated to this time of year. We can find in the small simply daily things life is beautiful around us, things are changing around us, and we need, we want to capture those special looks and feelings on our pages. The pleasure we get from capturing a child’s innocence, a smile of an emerging beautiful young lady, or just simply a walk between father and child can bring a scrapper sheer delight. They all warm the soul and our pages, bringing us to a place in our hearts that are as warm as the season’s colors around us.

Design notes: To fill the blank space at the bottom of the layout with subtle pattern, I used up the remaining letters on a sheet of letter rub-ons, without worrying about the missing letters.

Always Know by Janice Badger. Supplies: Digital kits: Serenity by Angela Young, Word Art Clippings Set Two by Angela Young, Paper: Fancy Pants, Wild Asparagus, other, Brads: Making Memories, Ribbon: Morex, Ink: Clearsnap, Rub-ons: Fancy Pants, Kopp Designs, Pen: Zig, Other: Silent Setter, Tombow adhesive.

Journaling: No one can make me smile the way you do. You are the joy of my life. I love you. My heart swells with pride.

Design notes: I layered the flowers and the elements on top of each other to give the layout more dimension. I also placed the stripes on the pattern paper at the bottom of the layout to anchor the layout.

Darling by Melita Ganoe. Supplies: Digital kit: 2Jills.com Aug/Sep, Paper: Dream Street, Ink: Ranger, Flowers: Daisy D’s, Ghost shapes and Chipboard: Maya Road, Rub-ons: Fancy Pants, Gems: Doodlebug, Pen: Signo.

Journaling: A crisp fall day searching for the perfect pumpkin. Jack gets a lift from Daddy.

Design notes: These chipboard letters were a cream color which didn't match very well, so I used a combination of ink and paint to customize the color.

Fall by Rachael Chamberlain.  Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill, Papers: Junkitz, Chipboard Letters: Pressed Petals, Brads, eyelet ribbon, acrylic tiles, label, metal frame, brads, rub on: Junkitz, Stamps: Technique Tuesday, Ink: Clearsnap, Paint: Synta.
