October brings thoughts of Halloween to mind, as well as the beautiful display of colors by Mother Nature. Orange and gold leaf colors are favorites with spooky black for those scary monster photos the kids love. Of course not everyone does celebrate Halloween or goes trick or treating, so this month’s free kit covers all bases. We hope you enjoy it and have fun scrapping! Our designers came up with a variety of layouts.

Notes:
Halloween pictures are always hard for
me to capture… my kids are way to excited to
sit still for a photo… so I have started
taking more candid shots of these occasions.

Our Little Princess by Jennifer Wuthrich. Supplies: Kit: Scrapstreet Halloween Harvest by Handmaid Designs, Journaling card: my own creation, Fonts: Arial, Fiolex Girls.
Journaling: Ashlee, You were the most adorable little Snow White this Halloween! You had just started learning about all of the Disney Princesses and you were set on being Snow White! Everything from your hair to your shoes were just perfect! You had a blast going to all of the Halloween activities dressed up... and I of course had a blast watching you while capturing countless pictures of you! I love you my little Snow White!

Editor’s
Notes: Notice that by matting the papers
(resize to suit) you can get some
interesting frame effects. Off-setting the
photo added a little more dimension. |

Design
Notes: This was such a fun kit to work
with and great variety, which made it
suitable for any fall layout. I wanted to
use it for a fun night we had at our church
doing Trunk or Treat. I used an effect from
Atomic Cupcake to get the great folded tear
at the top.
