The Craze with Scrolls
What do you think of when you hear the word “scroll”? I once would have just thought of the olden days and the scrolls that were once used to write on…those days have come and gone and there is a new meaning for the word “scroll”.
Scrolls have hit the scrapbooking market and are a huge hit! They have become really popular and range in mediums from rubons to chipboard and everything in between. Many manufacturers have jumped onto the trend bandwagon with scrolls using them in the patterns of their paper and also developing rubons, stamps, chipboard, and die cuts to match many of their existing or new lines.

Notes: I used a scroll underneath the larger photo to draw attention to it. I tied some ribbon on it as well to add some dimension to the page.
Journaling: “I want to get married so I can wear a princess dress!” You are too funny! Ashlee, you have been talking about getting married non-stop…I think the princess movies have “peeked your intrest” As quoted by Ashlee @ 3.

Notes: I used the digital flourishes to balance out the photo of my son and to add a color contrast. By bevelling and adding a drop shadow, they give more depth to the page. The additional flourish at the corner of the photo just balances the tag which has
hidden journaling.
Journaling: My Sweet Little Mischief on tag.
