Captured Moments

The wedding day is so busy for the bride and groom; it feels like you never stop moving. And you are trying so hard to make sure that you greet all of your guests, especially those who came from out of town. With all that, it’s no wonder that trying to remember everything about your day is nearly impossible! One of the most exciting post-wedding moments is receiving pictures from guests and/or the photographer and finding that someone captured a special moment you shared with someone – even with your new groom – that you might have forgotten in all the other activity.

Notes: I wanted to emphasize my simple journaling so I used flowers and buttons to make a curve for my journaling to rest on. Also, to add dimension to the page, I sanded the edge of the patterned paper, stitched approx 1/4" inside, then lightly pulled up the edges to raise it up off the cardstock.
Journaling: I'm so lucky to have you.

Notes: The whole day we were posing and this one was taken while we had a chat with each other. The happy smile on my husband's face shows to me how comfortable he's feeling. |

Notes: To focus attention on the photo, it's a great idea to play with "windows"...use different paper, or in this case, vellum cutting techniques to create unique frames. I also added a border of small black and white pictures along the edges for a finishing touch to the page.
