Captured Moments

 Janice Badger

Who didn’t do a lot of kissing on their wedding day? Before you even walk down the aisle, everyone who sees you during the day gives you a kiss – or two! And of course, there is THE KISS at the end of your wedding ceremony. But after the ceremony, when you and your new spouse were finally alone (OK, being watched by dozens of people with cameras), you get time together to sneak in those really special kisses. And you sneak them in all day long.

Designer Notes: I just love this picture of me and my husband taken in the heart of downtown Chicago just after our wedding ceremony. Since it was a Saturday the city was fairly quiet. Our photographer followed us around different landmarks photographing us.

Pure Bliss by Kathlynn Hughes. Supplies: Paper: Injoi, Chipboard: Heidi Swapp (hearts), Making Memories (letters), Flower: Prima, Photo: Kramer Photography, Other: trim, paint, Diamond Glaze, gem.

Designer Notes: I had originally made an 8 1/2 by 11 layout but wanted to change to 12 x 12. So I framed the original layout with a sticker border and mounted it on a 12 x 12" paper. Instant larger layout, it's a snap!

Journaling: Kissing is like drinking salted water. You drink, and your thirst increases. Chinese Proverb"

Kiss by Heidi Payne. Supplies: Paper: K & Company, Carolee's Creations, Archiver's, Stickers: 7gypsies, Miss Elizabeth's, Karen Foster Designs, Scrap Essentials, Stickapotamus, Making Memories, Brads: Making Memories, Vellum quote: Die Cuts With a View, Other: Cardstock.

Editor’s note:

I loved the energy the lime green color gave this page.  The color with the flourishes provide such eye catching movement.

the kiss by Shelly Brewer. Supplies: Paper: K & Company, My Mind's Eye, 7 Gypsies, Cardstock: Bazzill, Stamps: See-dee's, Rub-ons: Chatterbox, felt: American Crafts, Other: Sequins.
