Who doesn’t love the perfect picture? The one in which our perfect child is wearing the perfect outfit, perfectly posed, and with that perfectly adorable look on their face.
My daughter was that child…a photographer’s dream. But then there was my son…a photographer’s nightmare. At a very young age, he discovered the art of making silly faces. And he liked to practice this newfound hobby at the very second the camera button would click. Since this was pre-digital camera days for me...trying to get a non-silly shot could be very frustrating.
Recently, I came across a box of pictures that I had previously deemed NOT scrapworthy-- lots of silly shots with wagging tongues, crinkled up noses, and bulging eyes. But now that he’s almost a teenager, I look at these goofy pictures in a whole new light. They just show what a fun and happy boy he was…and still is.
The layouts on this page ARE perfect—perfectly fun and zany!

Design
notes: I think the way Danielle layered
the flowers on top of the picture really
gives the layout a nice 3-dimensional look.
And the bows around the letters are just the
perfect touch.

Journaling: I can always count on Ava to do something silly to bring a smile to my face.
Design notes:
For beginning digi scrappers like me...it is nice to add drop shadows to certain elements on your page to create the illusion of depth. I applied one to the title to make it stand out a bit more. Try adding one today! |

Journaling:
Never before has someone been more Unforgettable in every way.
Design
notes:
I really like that even though there are so many fun things to look at on
this page, Laura has matted and placed the
photos in a way that they are still the main
focus of the layout.
