When I see you smile
James Davidson
|
 |
My mom is always smiling.
Ok, so as the mother of 5 boys, maybe always is
an overstatement. Mostly smiling, then.
We did some of the most boneheaded things that
boys can think of and she would laugh first,
roll her eyes, and then hand out the
punishments. I am not sure if she was a
smiler by nature or by necessity, but I do know
that I love to see her grin at us. Her
whole face just seems to sparkle with pride or
exasperation. Since I am 21 years older
than the youngest brother, I am really enjoying
watching all the ways he makes her smile.
