Heavenly H2O

  Christa Parker

No matter where the water is, kids always seem to find it and want to play in it. Mud puddles, pools, sprinklers, even with water balloons. What is it about water that they can’t seem to keep out of? Maybe it’s the hot days, cool water and time that they just get to splash and get wet. Maybe it’s the new bathing suit they get to wear. Whatever it is, don’t forget to grab your camera because you can always get great snap shots of your children playing in the water.

Journaling: I had filled up the pool with the intention of bathing the dogs, when Seth came hurtling out of the back door and threw himself into the water, headfirst, clothes and all!

Design notes: I used coordinating papers from the same line. I didn't feel as though the page needed any fancy embellishments, as the enlarged photo was so bold. I cut out a 'droplet' which is dripping from the title, from blue cardstock, and highlighted with a Galaxy marker.

Aqua Vitae by Abbie Selander.  Supplies: Patterned Paper: Heidi Grace, Stickers: Doodlebug letter, Buttons: American Crafts, Font: CK Cursive.

Journaling: Swim Little Fish

Design notes: I used a bevel on one of the papers to create a frame for the photo and combined the mix of papers and elements to match the picture and give a bright and fun feel to it.

Little Fish by Katey Green.  Supplies: Dusted Garden Kit by raxton at Divine Digital, Font: Horseshoes and Lemonade.

Journaling: Just Be You - YOU at the beach... Summer 2006

Design notes: Sand chipboard letters until you only see a touch of pink. Sand edges of blossom to give a distressed look.

YOU by Renee' Morris--Dezember.  Supplies: All supplies from Sweetwater's Cotton Candy Collection.
