Our team really enjoyed
ourselves this month! We each took a few
moments to create a mini kit that would
celebrate summer. It was such fun to see
the different ideas. Inspiration came from
ice cream, rainy days, gardening, and sunshine.
We did not share colors or ideas until it was
time to reveal, and then found that turquoise,
red, green, and yellow were favorites for many
of us.

Design
notes: Summer is such a fun time I can’t wait every year for the flowers to start blooming.
I am always amazed at the colors and different kinds there are. This was the
perfect kit to use with such beautiful colors and elements to show off the pictures
I had taken. I used these fun frames to help my pictures pop off the page.

Design Notes: I thought how well the striking, squared paper from Janneke's Turquoise Towels kit went with the textured cardstock from my
Summer Garden kit. I bordered the photo of my nephew with ribbon, eyelets
and a flower from Janneke's kit. I enjoy mixing and matching items from
different kits, you can achieve totally different looks that way. |

Design
notes: My daughter loved the botanical gardens at Ventnor Isle of Wight. It has a
subtropical atmosphere and many unusual palms and plants grow there in the sheltered
spot.
I love Dora's stickers and used one to compliment the circular cutout I made from
the paper with flowers on.

Design
note: For this layout I wanted to focus
on the new puppy in my son & grandson’s
lives. Using the circles around the large
picture draws your eye right there. |
