A great little painting program with realistic looking paint brushes , pencils, crayons, chalk, and felt pens.
You can paint , draw and trace another picture using this little program. For the most part it is free, although the full version has a couple more options such as cut and paste or glue and some other blanked out tools. It is great on its own for making elements or simple patterns to transfer into more powerful editing programs.
What makes it useful in designing your own scrapping pages is the instant textures that us lesser mortals can understand and enjoy. Such as the texture of chalk along with the pwdery colors of chalk. Wax crayon that looks as if it came from your little ones crayon box. Oil paint in thick textures that can be smeared with the palette knife. It is great fun.

When you have finished doing your little work of art you can save it as a png. When you transfer it into your fav editing program then you can cut it and use the results as an element or pattern adding your finishing touches as you go. I use this all the time for the pure pleasure of the textures it delivers on your pc screen infront of you. If you like painting for real, then you will enjoy using this prgram as it delivers the feel and look of a paintbrush.
