Scrap–A–Ganza part II
Meeting Dyan Reavely

When I was choosing my workshops back in
March and I saw Dyan’s name on the list I didn’t think twice but immediately booked her workshop.
Dyan is very well-known for her awesome technique workshops and I really really love technique workshops.
After my adventures during the first class I rushed off towards Dyan’s classroom. I succeeded in finding the classroom without my glasses.. can you believe that?
I sat down in the front row next to the lady I sat with during the first class. I glanced around and I was so surprised to see men in this class too! Great to see scrapbooking is not a “ladies only thing” anymore.
The lady next to me found a friend pretty soon, made her excuses and rushed to the back of the class leaving me to sit all by myself.
I started to spread my stuff out over two desks when a French lady came to sit with me. Loved the fact that this event is so international and that people from all over Europe come to Holland.
When classes started and Dyan introduced herself my friend Petra came running in last minute. I had NO IDEA she was taking this class and I hadn’t seen her since the Rachel Ludwig class last year. This is this once a year event where you get to meet a lot of online friends in real life. I shouted “PETRA!!!” right through the room.. disturbing Dyan’s introduction.
Felt the blood rushing to my face.. I must have had this wonderful purple-red color.. but I forgot to think before I acted.
Luckily Dyan was a good sport and gave us a few minutes.. and the French lady was an amazingly good sport. She immediately offered to go and sit somewhere else so I could sit with Petra. Thank goodness for sweet people and HOORAY for France! Quite different from the
Dutch lady that refused to let me sit next to my friend Amber.
Anyways, Dyan told us about her company “Blonde Moments” and showed us some of the products they carry. She also told us about her experiences as a teacher for Ranger.
Blonde Moments has some awesome stuff. Embossing powder, utee and pearl powder. Apart from that they have the coolest stamps (had to buy those cute butterfly stamps =D) and great paper lines.
This workshop was all about techniques. We got a paper stack and a round tin mini album with flowers and bling to complete our project but it was basically about learning to work with
Perfect pearls.
Head to the next
page to have a sample of the class!
