This month we had
the privilege of playing with Art Blanche
letters from EK Success company. This
extremely diverse company brings scrappers a
wide array of fun products from the cute
Jolee's Boutique stickers to a huge
selection of licensed items to some fabulous
items for the artsy scrappers. These
letters stand more than a foot high and are
sturdy enough to be altered and hold some
weighty embellishments without being too
heavy to hang easily. The Art Blanche
line also includes an amazing array of
boxes, shapes, and containers all in basic
white ready for your imagination. Look
for some today!

Design notes:
Love the big monogram! I made this to go on my scrap room door. This is the first time I've altered a letter this big but I love it, definitely going to be doing more! I used UHU adhesive to stick down the paper, worked like a charm, roughly cut the edges, and then sanded for a uniform look.

One of a kind by Di Hickman. Supplies:
Letter: EK success, Paper: Kelly Panacci, Stickers: Kelly Panacci, Ribbon: one heart...One mind, May Arts.
|

Design notes:
These letters present endless opportunities for embellishment and display. I decided to let my inner girl out, and used textured amethyst paper as the bottom part, then wrapped it in three different fibers, one of which is glittery. I put a band of velvet paper above that, then a fun batik-looking paper from Karen Foster at the top and on the dot. The center of the repeating patterns provided the perfect place to put clear, blue and purple gems.

Editor’s note:
Christa used

Altered "C" by Christa Parker. Supplies:
Letter: Art Blanche by EK Success, Paper: EK success, Embellishments: EK Success.

Design notes:
I wanted to use this big S to add to my holiday decorating. Printing out the papers and elements made this project easy and fun. I ended up with a cute Santa sign very quickly because I designed it in pse first.

Design notes:
It took me
forever to figure out what to do with my
letter. I have altered lots of A's and
Z's for my kids, but when it came to doing
one for me, I kept putting it off. I
am so glad that I finally sat down to work
on it. I have it hanging on the wall
over my scrap table and I love it! The
bling just makes me smile and feel all
special. Go grab one to do for you
today!
