Pet Park

 Michelle Boeckermann

Christmas goes to the dogs! Time to get them in the holiday spirit with toys, outfits, and great pictures! I admit to loving a good picture as much as the rest of you. So, yes ,I will do what it takes to amuse myself and my family when it comes to playing dress up with Tucker. He never complains, but yet the look in the eyes says "Oh the horror". It's so much fun to play with dogs and costumes! From reindeer antlers that are now chewed to bits, or putting a Santa hat on your favorite 4 legged friend, the pictures come swift and the layouts even swifter. At what lengths do you go to when it comes to your pets at Christmas? Mine actually have a spot in the budget! Toys, outfits, bones, special treats in fun Christmas shapes from Santa too! I plan on getting the good shots this year, props and all, do you?

Design note:  I used Photoshop to alter the stamp from Nice to Naughty. Using Fiskar's twinkle-twinkle stamp I added a few stars with buttons for more dimension. I used a pen to add doodles and a 1/16th punch to add random holes on the scallops to give more definition to the scallops. The hardest part was getting my dog to sit still with the Santa hat on, for this I gave him him lots of praise & his favorite treat afterward!

Merry Grinchmas by Kathie Davis. Supplies: Paper: Rusty Pickle (Whoville, Naughty & Nice, Mistletoe), Quote Coupons: Rusty Pickle, "Tis the Season" Clear Stamps: 3 Bugs in a Rug, Other: Buttons.

Editor's note: Christmas for Sky as one of our spoiled pups on ScrapStreet has always supplied us with never ending, beautiful, fun photos.

Design note: It’s hard to see in the photo but these papers are full of glitter. The red foil just screamed Christmas to me, and highlighted his red outfit. I used a transparency for the title to get the font I wanted.

Christmas Dress Up by Michelle Boeckermann. Supplies: Paper: K & Co., Cardstock: Bazzill, Clear stars: Heidi Swapp, Other: Transparency, Red Foil.
