Traveling Class

 Dora Phillips

Daisy d's

After reading all of Mireille's class exploits over the past 2 years, I can not resist taking classes whenever and wherever I can find them.  She inspires me to want to try everything once and the stuff I love over and over.  I am always trying to find classes with the same folks she writes about, but am happy to sample others along the way.  I find there is always something to learn in every class.

As CHA Summer crept closer, Meesh, Linda, and I were stalking the class portion of their website.  We knew from previous conventions that if you do not sign up fast, the class you really want will be sold out.  So we waited and watched and clicked and refreshed.  Finally!  They were live and we raced to sign up for the Daisy d's workshop.

This was not my first time hanging with Meesh and Linda, so I knew just what to expect--insanity.  The three of us get into plenty of trouble just typing online and in person, well we are impossible.  And we had a first time CHA friend Terry coming in the next day.  Spirits were high and giggles constant.  Here is a picture of us before class (on a bench that I altered for a charity event).

Yep.  We are nuts.  Look out class!

We entered the classroom and were immediately excited by the lovely class kit waiting for us.  The new products from Daisy d's are soooo yummy.  The mini album is the arrow book by Maya Road, but we were not making an arrow--we were turning it sideways for a spooky haunted house.

Class started and the team was just as cute as could be.  They had wonderful energy and did not mind that some of us were not going to "play by the rules".  As they were leading the class cut by cut, Linda, Meesh, and I had already torn into the embellishment packages and were playing.  The buttons and flowers are fabulous, but it was the rub on stitches that we went wild for.  Quick, easy, and the perfect look, we were soon rubbing them on everything (and each other).

I have never been a big sticker person, but the Daisy d's ones were so cute and colorful, that I gave them a try and loved them.  You need some--trust me.

Here is the cover and a few of my pages.  I haven't added the pictures yet since as I write this it is not actually Halloween yet.  I am going to add in pictures of all the grandkids and give it to their grandma to take to work and show off her angels and goblins.

When was the last time you followed Mireille's lead and took a class?  Been a while?  Grab a friend and head on over to your lss--something fun is happening and you don't want to miss out!
