Happy November! Is autumn in full swing where you are? Do you have big Thanksgiving plans? Well I hope those plans include some street time ‘cause you KNOW there’s always tons of fun stuff happening here. You don’t want to miss out on ANY of it! Let’s take a peek back at October:
We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a Halloween-themed weekend crop. There were lots of POOKY games and challenges to help scare up some scrappin’ mojo. Amber, Christa & Terry all won prizes and Linda was our pooky crop queen. Way to go, girls!! Be sure to check the calendar for this month’s crop. We hope to see you there! And if you can’t wait that long, come over and play at our Saturday Nite Scrap sessions…we’ll save you a seat!
Did you sign up for Thanksgiving Bingo? If not, you still have time. First words will be called out on Friday morning, November 2nd. Haven’t ever played? Well what are you waiting for? October brought us month TWO of our self-improvement plans. Are you a hopeless procrastinator? Need some help sticking to your diet? Some BIG news for October? Nicole is gonna have a BABY!! Yep…another street baby for us to “oooh” and “ahhh” over. Sooo excited for you, Nicole!

Time for Resident of the Month:
This month our honored resident is a great gal who has a great outlook on life. I was reading her blog recently and it’s really upbeat and fun. It seems like she would be that way in person too…someone to hang out with…spending the day giggling together. She knows the frustration (and terror!) of raising teens but she manages to find humor in the ever-challenging situations. She lets that fun and energetic attitude show thru in her scrapping and also in her posts. We are glad to call her one of our own. Grab a beverage, raise those glasses and help me toast this month’s VIP…Leigh (aka CKUgrad). Stop by and give her a hug…heck, give her TWO…she has TEENAGERS!

Hiya, scrapstreet!! Last month was just the BEST! It was FILLED with pookies!! Aunt Woey took me to Wal-Mark a whole bunch of times to visit the pookies…ummies, vampotters, frankietimes and some pooky WENCHES!
There was pooky stuff other places too… I got to watch lots of ScoobyDoo and other cartoons and even a whole DAY of Goosebumps! There were even pooky pictures here on aunt woey’s ‘puter. Ohhh…I

trick-or-treat. I think October is my favorite month EVER!
Let’s see…what else happened…OH!...I got SHOT! My daddy took me to the doctor and they said they shot me! I didn’ see no gun or nothin’ though…just a little pinchy feelin’ on my leg and then they gave me a YUMMY sucker. I LIKE bein’ shot!
Oooh…I like all the funny new smiley faces you got! There are dancing ones and jumping ones and even STAR WARS ones…Aunt Woey’s scrapstreet friends are so COOL!
Oh yeah…don’t forget to post pictures of your kids in their Halloween costumes. I can’t WAIT to see them!
Well…I gotta go now. Aunt Woey is gonna take me to Wal-Mark this morning. She says they might have a FEW pookies left there…even though Halloween is over. I sure hope so. *waving and blowing kisses* Bye-bye for now!!
The pookiest moments of October:
1. Dora is turned into a morning person, Jenn craves chocolate, and Meesh drinks COKE. Just developing good personal habits…or have they been POSESSED? You decide.
2. Pooky computer problems and even pookier-than-usual aunt visits—yuck to both!
3. Backwards posts and posts with no vowels…*shudder*…POOKY!
4. Meesh shops at K-MART…eeeeeeeek…too pooky to even THINK about!!!!
5. The day the avatar fairies went crazy…it was fun, but ya gotta admit…some of those avatar pics were REALLY pooky!
