Challenge Club

 Dora Phillips

This month's challenge club included a dare to use those leftover letters in a mix and match way.  How many letters do you have hanging around waiting for some love?  I would be embarrassed to show you my stash!

I sat down with a chick flick, my paper scraps, and my leftover letters and 2 hours later I had a batch of new cards all ready to send when needed.  And they cost me not a cent--how green do I feel?

Design notes: Missing a letter?  Improvise!  The pink O was originally a Q.

For You by Jackie Gallagher. Supplies: Paper: Creative Cafe, Cardstock: Die Cuts With a View, Flowers: Prima, Stickers: Colorbok, K&Co, Rusty Pickle, Making Memories, Target, Little Yellow Bicycle, Pearls: Kaiser, Other: Ribbon.

Design notes: Using letters from different alphabets all "bare" makes for an interesting, but not distracting, technique.  These are actually from three separate alphabets.

Hello by Dora Phillips.  Supplies:  Cardstock:  Bazzill, Paper:  BasicGrey, Flower: Jenni Bowlin, Chipboard:  Maya Road, BasicGrey.

Design notes: I used the Bazzill Just the Edge cardstock strips to mimic ice cream cones. I added ink and stickles to give it some dimension.? The ice cream cone on the left side is a chipboard "V" covered with ribbon for the cone with a handcut paper ice cream on top. I added the bling for the sprinkles.

Thanks by Dora Phillips.  Supplies:  Cardstock: Bazzill, Paper: BasicGrey, Letters:  Heidi Swapp, We R Memory Keepers, Bling:  Heidi Swapp, Flower:  My Mind's Eye, Other:  Ribbon, Button.
