Do you have piles of pictures? Are they stuffed in a bag, drawer or shoe box? If you answered "yes" to any of these, keep reading.

Pictures are treasures of our past. You want to have love ones cherish these pictures in the years to come. Storing your pictures correctly will enable you to enjoy them for years to come.

Before digital cameras we had to get our film developed, and sometimes had duplicates (or triplicates) printed. Now with the popular digital cameras you save your pictures to your computer and burn to a disc. You print the photos as needed. No more disorganized piles, or ruined treasured pictures.

Here are a couple of tips to begin organizing your pictures.

  • Separate your photos into themes (holidays, vacations, school, birthdays)

  • Organized them by date (month/year)

  • Document names and places of pictures (don’t trust your memory, write the information down now)

To help you out, here are a few ways to store your photos.

All it takes to get organized with enthusiasm is desire! So, sort your way to more space this month and stop by next month for ways to organize your page kits. We’ll clean up together.
