My Favorite Things

This month we were privileged to design with stamps from My Favorite Things.  If you have not had the privilege to try these amazing stamps, you are in for a treat!  We each were sent a variety of acrylic stamp sets and were asked to have fun, ink them up and play.  It does not get much simpler than that and I have to say I personally found these stamps a lot of fun to work with, making them in my opinion, some of the best stamps I have ever used!

Design note:  I stamped the image a couple times to get it at the length I needed.

Thanks Card by Jackie Gallagher.  Supplies:  Stamp: My Favorite Things, Paper: Die Cuts With a View, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Hemp: Darice, Rhinestones: BasicGrey, Embossing Folder: Provo Craft, Other: flower.

Design notes:  The little flower stamps are so cute and I really wanted to highlight them properly.  After stamping the flowers in pink, I traced the edges with a marker to make them pop.  I used the chipboard to frame out the stamped image.

Do What You Love Card by Stacey Michaud.  Supplies:  Stamps:  My Favorite Things, Paper:  My Little Yellow Bicycle, Cardstock:  Bazzill Basics Paper, Chipboard, Tag:  K & Company, Ribbon:  SEI, Markers:  Creative Memories, Bling:  BasicGrey, Ink: Stampin' Up!.

Design notes:  I used the swirl as a flower stem, as well as one of the flower stamps, and one dot from the line of dots stamp in this set to make the center panel. I think the swirl is versatile, and in addition to a flower stem could be used to simulate waves, wind, a flourish, steam rising off a coffee cup, or even define the lines of a long skirt.

Miss U card by Janice Badger.  Supplies:  Stamps: My Favorite Things (It's Elemental set), Paper: Making Memories, BasicGrey, Rub-ons: Doodlebug Design, Ink: Stampin' Up!, Clearsnap, Twine: Stampin' Up!, Tool: Rub-on Roller (BasicGrey), Adhesive: Scotch, K & Company, Zots, Other: adhesive cork, clear buttons, transparency, cardstock.
