Growing up, July
4th
was always one
of my favorite
holidays. Each
year as the
Fourth of July
approached, the
anticipation of
firework shows,
picnics, and
fairs was almost
more than I
could bear, the
holiday just
couldn’t arrive
fast enough.
As an adult and
an American
Citizen, the
Fourth of July
is a time that I
personally
reflect on how
proud I am to be
able to raise my
children in this
great country
that I love. I
also think of
all of the
service men and
women that serve
our country on a
daily basis and
how fortunate we
are that they
protect our
freedoms.

Design notes:
I love
using
ribbon
on
chipboard,
but do
used to
struggle
to trim
it
without
it
unraveling.
My new
secret?
I glue
the
ribbon
strips
on and
give
them a
coating
of clear
nail
polish.
After it
is dry,
I can
trim it
easily
and it
looks
great!
