Past Issues | | | Crossroads Café Brianne Nevill | | Framed Dora’s layout below shows a great hybrid-way to use a frame. By printing off the enlarged frame on her background, Dora provided the layout character before her photo was even mounted. I love the way Diana enhanced the frame by adding color and sparkle to it and printing it directly onto her photo. Heather used her frame to draw the reader’s attention to the photo of their picturesque campground but also used it as part of her title. What a fabulous idea! As an added bonus, these frames are available to you for your own scrapbooking needs! You can find the free download and detailed instructions on how to use them in our freebie section of the ScrapStreet store. | | | Design notes: I loved using the frame with my wide format printer as a base for my page. I added in random letters and then sprinkled some buttons over the circles to build in more texture. It made for a fast and easy page. | No Words by Dora Phillips. Digital Supplies: At Work Frame by Brianne Nevill (Scrapstreet), Font: Distressed Typewriter. Supplies: Paper: BasicGrey, October Afternoon, Chipboard: Cherry Arte, Other: buttons. Journaling: There are no words to describe the amount of love I have for you. My heart just explodes whenever I look at you. | Design note: I really liked the frame the way it was, but by dropping pink into it, I was able to coordinate more with my pattern paper. | | Sweet Dreams by Diana Brodeur. Digital Supplies: Dream Frame by Brianne Nevill (Scrapstreet). Supplies: Paper: BasicGrey, Prima Marketing, Stickers: Making Memories, Pen: American Crafts, Crayola, Glitter: Ranger. Journaling: A time to dream of pixie dust, fairy tales, and other wondrous things! | Editor's notes: I absolutely adore the way Heather used the “Dream” in the frame as part of her title. She tied the whole layout together by doing this. | Dream Come True by Heather Casper. Digital Supplies: Dream Frame by Brianne Nevill (Scrapstreet). Supplies: Paper: Cosmo Cricket, Rub-ons: Maya Road, Other: buttons. Journaling: It all started as a dream. We love to camp and had been spending most of our summers doing just that – camping. Five years ago, sitting around a campfire with the Donato’s we talked about how it would be awesome to own our own campground. We all laughed and said, “Yeah, isn’t that a pipe dream”. Well, on August 29, 2008, that dream came true. The Casper’s and The Donato’s became partners with Dale and Randy Bruns and Bob and Elaine Rohn in Lake of Dreams Campground. It just goes to prove that you should never stop pursuing your dreams because one day it might just come true. | | | | © ScrapStreet, 2009 All Rights Reserved | | | | | | | |
