Every week we
challenge all of the members of our
challenge club to scrap and play together.
We really love pushing the boundaries and
freeing up some new creative juices.
This challenge tackled the go green climate
we are all embracing and asked for two
levels--a hard and an easy.
The easy challenge
was to scrap using the color green.
Sounds easy enough, but it was ONLY green
with neutrals black, white, or brown.
We really wanted to let the green shine
through.

Design
notes:
To help the green really stand out I used a white background and turned my photo to black & white.

Always Be
Yourself by Jenn Keefer. Digital Supplies: Paper: Spontaneous Delight by Carrie Stephens, Pattern Paper, Word Art: Free Pea Kit by Rhonna Farrer. Swirl: Design Sparklers by Carrie Stephens. Font: Digs My Hart.
|

Design
notes:
I
was determined to not only scrap green in
color, but to only use bits and pieces from
my leftover bin for the entire page.
It is as green as I can go!

Design
notes:
I didn't want to make the circles perfectly round to reflect the fun and messy side of boys! By breaking up the circles into rings, I was able to use a very busy patterned paper without it overwhelming the page.

Journaling: Cole, you are going to be a real heart-breaker, I can just tell. Even at three, you have quite a few girlfriends already. I love you.
