Rainy Day
Memories Christa Parker

 |
The month of April kicks off the start of the rainy months. And I know you all know the saying … “April showers bring May flowers and grumpy bus drivers.” What? You haven’t heard that one? Well here in West Virginia you will. My boy’s bus driver gets very grumpy during April's
shower season. And what makes her so grumpy
every morning? It’s not that she has to go
out into the rain each day, or drive with
her windshield wipers on, or that she even
misses seeing the sun. Nope none of those
reasons. The reason is that the children bring mud onto her bus. Oh and let me mention that we have a gravel driveway. I hope this April we don’t get as much rain as in the past.
Here are a couple layouts that will give you great ideas that you can do with your rainy day pictures.

notes:
Everyone is looking for ways to fit a large number of pictures on one layout;
this one has a whopping 9 pictures on it! By printing the picture size at 2x3 many pictures fit without cluttering the page.

After the Rain by Stephanie Sterk.
Supplies:
Papers: Cosmo Cricket,
Stickers: K&Company, Alpha: Making
Memories, Brads: Creative Imagination.
Journaling:
Your favorite place to be
is outside after the rain. We often stand in
the garage to watch the rain, but as soon as
it stops you run out and start jumping in
the puddles and stomping in the streams
running down the curbs. You sit right down
and SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH!!! It seems to make
no difference to you that you are splashing
yourself right in the face, or that your
clothes are soaked with mud and water.

Journaling:
Puddle Jumping 101
1. Grab a friend (or your

2. Find a big puddle
3. Jump and splash and
