Baby, I Love You

Oh, how I love this article every year! I never, ever tire of baby layouts and honestly, I’m a little sad that my babies aren’t babies to scrap anymore. Will anyone mind if I go back and get some photos from three and six years ago? Can I borrow your baby pictures?
I miss that age, the time as well as the layouts!
I never, ever tire of hearing of new babies, seeing baby layouts, or hearing new moms talking about their new babies. I love all the words used to describe our baby ones – little, shine, adore, precious, sweet, miracle – and those are just from the pages featured here.
Isn’t it amazing how one tiny little creature can
evoke the same emotions and feelings in new mothers? Take a look at how these mothers were moved to put their experiences down on paper. Becky caught a precious moment in her baby’s eyes with her camera and did a gorgeous job scrapping it to keep the photo and memory alive. Karen took her baby to the blues, and Jennifer’s baby looks like a doll in her photo and she scrapped to match that quaint, gorgeous moment.

Design
notes:
I love the effect of the white gel pen on dark paper. It really makes the word/object pop!

Design
notes:
The "L" shape as demonstrated in this layout is a foolproof pattern that can be used over and over again to create completely different
looks. It can be also turned 90 or 180 degrees for a completely new approach.

Design
notes:
I glued the Fancy Pants clear
die cuts to the patterned paper with Glossy Accents. I let it dry and cut around the pieces with my Fiskars fingertip craft knife. This way I didn't have to worry about how I would adhere the clear pieces to my layout without the adhesive showing. I also used my Heidi Swapp Edge Distresser along the sides of the paper to add some dimension.
