Katey Green

April already?  How the months are flying by.  We have a lovely, fresh kit, reminiscent of summer days for you this month by our designer Jopke.  Simply called April with fresh beige, cream, greens and touches of orange.  Let’s see what our amazing Creative Team came up with.

Design notes: How striking are the colors in this kit. The combination of the deep grass green against the burnt orange is wonderful. The page needed to be bold to accentuate that. With a bonus alpha it made a perfect combination to present a striking page.

Design notes: I had the perfect picture for a layout with this summery kit. The fresh greens and orange colors were just what I needed for this picture of Boris de Bruin, who was almost dozing of in a sunny and fresh looking field of grass..

Design notes: I needed to use a bold color to accent this lovely photo so chose the vivid orange  paper.  To ensure the floral spray stood out I duplicated it and changed the blend mode.  I also reduced the beige flower in size to just fit inside the green one for emphasis.  I turned the k of the alpha round just for fun!
