Celebrate the love
of a pet with us this month, from the way a
pet makes you feel when you first come home,
to the love it shows for a new baby. We have
them as family members in our homes. They
are so personable and add so much to our
families' lives. They teach us how to show
and receive love in so many ways. Enjoy
three
bits of scrapped pet love this month in
three
unique scrapping styles.

Design Notes: The day I took these photos my
daughter when she turned 6 months old and had just began to
roll around. As she did, she rolled to the dogs. I
was able to catch them interacting with each other and
was pleased as punch when they were so gentle with
her. She adores the dogs and they adore her. I chose
my three favorite photos of the day and scrapped them
the way I remember the day, full of love. I pulled
the colors from her outfit and added the heart because
they melted mine that day.

Puppy Love by Jenn Keefer. Supplies:
Paper: BasicGrey, Bazzill Basics Paper, Rub-ons:
ScrapWorks, Chipboard: BasicGrey, Alpha:
American Crafts, Ink: Clearsnap.
 |

Design Note: To
keep my blocking light, I varied the format somewhat
to keep it interesting and not boring. The larger
picture of Lucy I matted to bring attention to since
she is the subject of the page. I inked everything
with copper to bring it together and used the sewing
machine to border in the blocks.
