Hello my lovelies.....Aunt Digi here, full of
the joys of the winter cold and flu season!
Hope you aren’t suffering too badly my dears
especially if you have that
beautiful-to-look-at-but-not-touch snow. Brrr....
Well for those of you interested in the digital
form of scrapping and art here are a few places
you can visit to pick up some ideas, find help
in the form of tutorials, and just be plain nosy
in the galleries! The first stop off is at
DigitalArtQuirks This was the brainchild
of Maya, the owner of Scrapbook Graphics, but
has recently transferred ownership. The store
won’t re-open until spring, but DAQ is a
fascinating place to visit with their digital
and altered artistry galleries and some
tutorials.
Another interesting place to visit is the
Digital Artisan Guild where you can find
classes to learn how to use popular software
such as Photoshop, Photoshop Elements and
PaintShopPro. For free tutorials on using your
software try
Digital Scrapbook Place which has a wealth
of information on how to get started as well as
tips, techniques and classes.
Aunt Digi hasn’t forgotten you paper peeps
though! This site is a little treasure trove of
beautiful images, techniques and ideas for all
things “messy”. With lots of free images
(personal use only) supplied by their members if
you are into altered items, ephemera and so on
this is the place for you: the
Art-E-Zine.
There you are my dearies, lots of lovely
inspiration for you there. Wrap up warm now my
dearies and make sure you drink plenty of tea.
Off I go a roving until next time.
Love to you all,
