Love.
It is the word for February, isn't it? I
have another word: cold. It seems
that all across America (and even in other parts
of the world), we are all huddling together
trying to find warmth. I try really hard
to be a glass-half-full gal all the time, but
when the temps get stuck below zero and the
liquid in the glass turns to ice, it is a
challenge. I long to take pictures of my
family outside without adjusting the white
balance for snow, snow, snow. So, what's a
scrappy girl to do?
Depend on
her friends and her art is my answer. I
have a real love for the online buddies that I
chat with every day. Many I have met in
real life and others I look forward to meeting,
but it does not matter--I love them all.
If your hubby is anything like mine, he may not
understand (at first) that you can really be
close to people that you meet online. You
understand, don't you?
Besides
being there to commiserate over icy roads and
canceled school, my online gang keeps me
laughing out loud and challenged to scrap.
Recent challenges in our weekly photo plan has
us looking at natural light, perspective, and
little things around the house. Scrapping
challenges include bright colors, lots of
layers, and making the old new again.
Together we are weathering the weather.
Are you looking
for renewed love in your scrappy art? Or
just the love of some scrappy sisters?
Come on in and you may say:

With lots of
smiles and love,
