The larger pets featured this month are of the
equestrian variety. These layouts showcase how
versatile and individual each relationship can
be. They prove that horses are not just loved
by teenaged girls, they are a man’s animal and a
child’s delight.
Horses can truly bring a unique and special
quality to our lives. The artists here showcase
those relationships. “Bobcat” is the special
friend of a young woman. “Woody” tells the
story of a man knowing the instant he jumped in
the saddle that this horse was something
special. And, “Yee!Haw!” highlights a little
girls’ joy at her first horse ride. |
 |

Editor's notes: Lisa
highlights her daughter and one of her
favorite horses with a delightfully vintage
chic layout combining two very complimentary
colors. The mix of chipboard and bling
swirls soften the layout and the accent of
flowers puts on the finishing touch.

Bobcat by Lisa Gregory.
Supplies: Paper: 7Gypsies,
Cardstock: American Crafts, Flowers:
Prima Marketing, Ink: Ranger, Clearsnap, Die Cuts:
Quickutz, Sizzix, Border Punch: EK Success,
Scissors: Fiskars.

Design notes: I printed the journaling on
masking tape and then cut it into strips! I
highly recommend printing it on a laser
printer and then spraying it with a
fixative.

Woody by Juliana Michaels.
Supplies: Paper, Letter stickers: Sassafras Lass,
Chipboard: Magistical Memories, Brads: Bazzill
Basics Paper, Making Memories, Die Cut: My
Mind's Eye, Other: masking tape, buttons,
thread.
Editor's note: There
is always a new way to use an old product.
Juliana creatively used masking tape for her
journaling and it adds an extra touch of the
“wild west” to her layout.

Editor's note: Tara
complimented the picture of her daughter
using a circle scallop paper and accented it
with an eclectic assortment of
embellishments.
