When I was
a little girl, I used to love Rainbow Bright. I
thought that the cartoon was magical and
enchanting with the colorful rainbows, the big
clouds, the unicorns and the little beaver
friends! I loved how the unicorn’s hair was in
the shades of red, yellow, blue and green
similar to a rainbow. Whenever I see a real
rainbow, I feel calm and at peace and I am able
to forget about the things on my schedule and
to take a minute to appreciate the beauty of
nature, because I’m not sure about everyone
else, but it isn’t often that a person comes
across a beautiful rainbow.
This month
we’ve selected a few layouts from readers like
you in hopes of inspiring you to use clouds and
rainbows on your layouts in creative ways!
I had the pleasure of reviewing the “Rainbow and
Cloud” layouts. The layouts had one thing in
common, and yet were all different from
one another. I like how each artist found
different ways to use rainbows and clouds on
their layout, causing them to shine.
For
example, Carol Figueiredo’s layout “This Is Me”
did not include a rainbow but she used several
different ribbons from the colors of a rainbow
to create a neat effect on her layout! I just
love how creative her layout is and the layout
definitely shines! Rowee Ortile’s layout “In the
Mind of a Child” was created with clouds,
flowers and the rainbow. I love how she added
the big blue flower at the end of the rainbow.
Becky William’s layout “Southern Girl” took my
breath away! I just love the feel to this layout
with the large scalloped circle, the rainbow
shooting from the side of the layouts, the
hearts and the colors. Brilliant layout!
I hope that
these layouts inspired you as much as they have
inspired me. After reviewing the layouts several
times, I couldn’t help but feel like I was
watching cartoons all over again! I just love
the fun, creative layouts featured in this
issue. Try doing something different this month.
Dig out those fun summer photos and use rainbows
on your layouts to create a magical and
eye-catching layout! |
