Caardvarks

I have made no secret of the fact that I am a bit card challenged.  Something about working in a small place without any pictures can be daunting.  But over the past year, I have started to enjoy the card-making process and have a new found appreciation for the creativity that goes along with it.  One of the reasons I am overcoming my card aversion involves the simple act of looking at amazing examples of well-made cards.  What has been a constant source of inspiration to me?  A challenge blog known as Caardvarks

Caardvarks is a hopping place with a huge team and fan base.  I am not alone in my love for them as there are four hundred and twelve followers of the blog.  Somebody must be doing something right to have that many people interested.  That right comes in the form of fun and clever challenges that easily motivate.  If the challenge itself is not enough, seeing all of the beautiful and unique cards will steer you in the correct direction.  The team makes projects that incorporates ribbons, stamping, distressing, and paper piecing.  You can also see cards with designs that are clean and simple to cards that are layered and rich.  I guess that is my point—you can see it all at Caardvarks.

For their current challenge, the team is encouraging participants to make Thank You cards.  Check out the eye-candy below.  Isn’t it all so pretty!!
