Hot Wheels
Christa Parker

When I was little, you would find me in the back yard playing in the dirt, making roads and villages for my hot wheel cars. Pretending I was driving each car and couldn’t wait to get my drivers license and buy a car. As a teenager, I counted down the months to be able to go to DMV to do just that. But the Army changed that when my family was sent to Germany for 4 years. My parents decided then that I would have to wait to get my license after our 4 years was up. I was pretty bummed; I was looking forward to take a drive on the Autobahn. But that never stopped my dad still teaching me how to change a tire or check the oil.
I still haven’t gotten my dream car, but I know one day I will and when I do, watch out Autobahn.
Don’t let your car memories drive by, grab your camera and scrap those memories. Take a look at these three layouts and their favorite car memories.

Design notes: When using a bold pattern, I like printing my pictures with a strong white border. It allows them to really stand out.
