Lisa Peppers

Golden sun and lake blue, dark rich earth, a deep woodsy green and a few garden friends. This month's kit Garden Grow, reminds me of summers spent at my grandparents house in Pennsylvania. One set of grandparents lived right off of Lake Erie while the other lived in the Allegheny forest near the Kinzu Dam. We spent our entire summer between the 2 families, either in the garden, in the woods, or at the water's edge. Is there a better way to spend the summer when you are a kid?

I can’t wait to see more creations with this kit! Make sure you share yours with us in the Scrap Street Gallery!

Design notes: I really thought that this sketch from Michelle lent itself to the kit Dora created this month. I added the frame around the 3 photos to really draw the focus in on them.

Enjoy by Lisa Peppers. Digital supplies: Kit: Garden Grow by Dora's Designs ( ScrapStreet), Sketch: Michelle McClung.

Design notes: The expressions on my sons faces show the differences I see between them. They are so different in personality and coloring. I created a window frame from one of the papers and used the word art strips to make a fun window ledge.

Differences by Katey Green. Digital supplies: Kit: Garden Grow by Dora's Designs (ScrapStreet), Font: Kristen.

Design notes: This kit was perfect for a layout about the blueberry plant our daughter got from her daddy.
