Summer is almost here. School is almost out. For my family that means it is time to relax. I am looking forward to sleeping in, sitting outside in the sunshine, walks on the beach and picnics in the park. We might even throw in a few Arizona road trips to see my hubby's family too. Most of all I am looking forward to taking photos of my kids enjoying all of our summer adventures. They love being in the water most of all. It doesn’t matter if it is the sprinkler, the pool or the ocean, so long as they are wet.
This month's kit by Dora's Designs is just right for those summer days. Let's see what our creative artist team came up with this month.

Design notes: The thing I enjoyed most about this kit was the deep earthy colors - green, brown and gold - with a different newspaper print as well. Brings back memories of helping my father in the old garden shed as a child. Love the fun elements that helped to add just the right touch to the photo I captured of my dear daughter smelling a daisy.

Stop and Smell The Flowers by Helen Hancock.
Digital supplies:
Kit: Garden Grow, Stitches: Puckered Place, Gentle Jungle, Frame: Ship Shape (all by Dora's Designs at ScrapStreet), Fonts: Myriad Pro, Minion Pro.
|
Design notes: The photo is a self portrait of my grandson and myself. Loved the sunny papers and elements in this kit!

Design notes: The winter is over and it's time for the cows to go back on the Alp. We were staying at this beautiful farm when their cows had to leave the stables for the first time this year. I can tell you that it wasn't easy. But it all worked out and I ended up with some great pictures.
