Summer CHA is here! I am so excited to be going and getting a look at all of the new releases the scrapbooking industry has coming out for this half of the year. Ok, I am also really thrilled that six of my ScrapStreet friends and I are renting a house and will be spending a week together there too. What could be better than a week with good friends and scrapbooking?
This time of year, the manufacturers will introduce the seasonal and holiday releases...Fall, Winter, Halloween, Thanksgiving and my favorite, Christmas. Also, for the first time, CHA vendors will be allowed to sell directly to the public on the last day. Did I ever tell you what a great shopper I am?
Next month, I will be holding the second annual Street Maps contest. There will be three sketches for you to choose from, a winner will be chosen at random and numerous layouts will be published. The prize is going to be a fun collection of scrapping goodies including a BasicGrey paper pack, Maya Road embellishments, various ribbons and chipboard. That's just to start; my CHA shopping will surely yield some more scrapping booty! Don't forget to check back here next month to join the fun!

Design notes: I made this sketch to be the essence of summer! Try ripping the center of the top layer to expose the patterned paper underneath. Don't forget the ink, summer embellishments and fun!
