Inspired Blueprints Here we are, one month into the New Year! Are you enjoying the creative process and getting into a groove? Whether the answer is yes or not quite, I have a suggestion that can propel your scrapbooking to a new level. Grab yourself a fresh and innovative sketch from the Inspired Blueprints challenge blog, gather up your materials and get to work. I often comment about a blog’s name in this column because I really do find these titles to be intriguing. I particularly love the name of this site! Think about it … a blueprint serves as a visual guide. It ensures that the basics are covered and it gives the builder an outline of what to include during construction. A scrapbooking sketch does the same job! According to the site’s sidebar, these sketches are “a starting point for you to build a balanced and great looking layout”. And you will surely be inspired when you see the well-designed sketches. New sketches are issued twice per month, so you will never run out of ideas. The talented design team members all showcase varied styles and interpretations, showing you how flexible you can be! Speaking of sketches, here is the current blueprint being used for the February Challenge, along with the work of the creative team.
