Scrap-a-ganza, Part 3: Meeting Karen Burniston

After a wonderful lunch (was really awesome with lots of yummie stuff... beautiful salmon... I ate WAY too much), we got ready for the Karen Burniston class. Now a Karen class is a story by itself. I took several Karen classes over the years and this woman never ceases to amaze me. She comes up with brilliant ideas and is capable of teaching huge classes.

I looked forward to this class very much. It was a double class (three hours!) and she was teaching a clear album which holds 68 pictures
and has pop up items.
The class filled up real quick. Sixty people had the same idea I had. Clear albums are cool and a “Karen clear album” is even more cool.
The speed in this class was pretty high and so I made sure I sat very close to my friends so we could try and yap a little but there wasn’t too much time for yapping. The album was pretty complicated so we had to pay attention to Karen
and the slideshow with “how to” instructions.
Karen made sure everybody could keep up and make it work. This album was perfect for my pictures of the trip to Barcelona. I took that trip over a year ago and hardly scrapped any pictures.
Totally happy with how it turned out.
This is a picture of my cover:

The bands hold the interactive part together. When you open it
up you get this:
So many pictures inside!
Such joy to see my pictures of this beautiful city with Gaudi
masterpieces in an album. There isn’t much to add
really… apart from telling you that whenever you
have the change you should really take a Karen
class.. they are the best! If your not fortunate
enough to be able and see her in person visiting her
website is second best--www.karenburniston.com.
Some more ideas for wonderful classes.
Thank you and until next time!
