Cards With Quotes

Bring your favorite quote front and center as we inspire you this month with some cards featuring quotes. Quotes aren't relegated to just the inside of your cards anymore, bring them out and make a feature of them! Whether stamped, printed, or rubbed on, there are lots of ways to incorporate quotes into any card design. One of my favorite quotes is an old Chinese saying "instead of counting time, make time count", reminding me to stop and smell the roses.

Editor's note: I just loved how Brianne used the the floss on this card! The quote really works with the color scheme too!

Crayons by Brianne Nevill. Supplies: Paper: Basic Grey, Cardstock: Bazzill, Chipboard: Paper Studio, Ink: Clearsnap, Font: CK Ali's Handwriting, CK Boxes, Floss: Janlynn.

Quote: We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.

Editor's note: Simply perfect is how I’d describe this card:  you really don’t need a lot of fuss and fancy on a card to make it stunning.

Friend by Pearl Liu. Supplies: Paper: SEI, Sticker: SEI, Die Cuts With a View.

Quote: The most I can do for my friend is simply to be his friend.

Editor's note: Great design on this card, and I love how Melissa tied in the colors of the patterned paper to the cardstock and embellishments.

If At First by Melissa Priest. Supplies:  Paper: Cherry Arte, Cardstock: Prism, Ribbon: Bo Bunny, Brads: American Craft, Star: Heidi Swapp.

Quote: If at first you don't succeed,  find out if the loser gets anything. - Bill Lyon
