Each year as September approaches and the
weather starts to cool from the long hot days
and nights that we have become accustomed to
during the summer, so does my excitement for the
fall season.
I love everything about fall! In fact I love
fall so much that one could say that everything
about fall, for me, is naturally perfect! From
the wonderful perfect smells that fill the air,
such as apples that are fresh and ready to
harvest, to the colors changing all around.
The opportunities for pictures are endless
during the fall season. Some of my favorite
activities are taking my family out to the local
pumpkin patches, playing in the fallen leaves,
or the picture perfect colors of the mountains
as they make their change to cooler weather.
These shared moments make the perfect photo
opportunities.

Design note:
I
covered my acrylic letters with glitter. I
used buttons of different format to do a
frame around my picture.

Design note:
I
am a huge fan of warm, earthy tones and
loved how these papers worked together. I
hand-cut the flowers and vine from patterned
paper and grouped them along the right side
of my photo. Because of the amount of white
space, I was faced with a dilemma about
where to place my journaling. I decided to
write all along the border of the page. |

Dear Daughter by Stacy Michaud, Supplies:
Paper: Scenic Route, We R Memory
Keepers, Cardstock: Bazzill, Stickers: Basic Grey,
Chipboard: K & Company, Buttons: Autumn
Leaves.
Journaling: Dear daughter, so don't
you look all sweet and innocent here,
doe-eyed & serene. Except you were all fired
up and refusing to sit on my lap during the
hay ride to the pumpkin patch. I asked,
"Please sit." You replied, "No Mommy. I
don't want to." with that tone and famous
eye roll. You wiggled, kicked, and
complained until you were off the seat and
on the floor. Then you looked at me with
this face. Yep, we battle, you & me. I am
afraid to see you at age thirteen. We will
rumble. Just remember, you won this battle,
but dear Ella, I will win the war!

Design note:
Chalk the edges of all the patterned paper
and cardstock to make it more dimensional on
the page. Place rub-ons directly onto
pictures.
