Going Places

 Dora Phillips

Each month, ScrapStreet travels to a new street, taking inspiration from that particular location.  We learn a bit about our stop and try to infuse that knowledge and attitude in our creations.  The monthly challenges encourage us to shake up our scrapping, trying new techniques, themes, and altered items as well as cards and color combinations.  Travel along with us as we spend September enjoying:

Chicago, Illinois

Welcome to the heart of the midwest!  Chicago offers culture, shopping, dining, and a rich history.  This month we will draw inspiration as we travel through this diverse city.

                      The Challenges

Color

Use them all, but use them with black. Pair any color or combination of colors with

the basic black of the night sky. Experiment and enjoy!

Theme

Food and fun! We wander through a city that believes in eating and enjoying your days. Bring this attitude into your pages!

Card

Find inspiration in the skyscrapers that form the Chicago skyline and bring these bold rectangles into your designs.

Technique

Happy Anniversary! In honor of our third anniversary, let's create cards to send to our friends and family marking another year together.
