Little Moments, Big Memories

Terry McAuliffe

Little moments can so easily slip by unnoticed. It takes a practiced eye to catch the nondescript moments, so practice, practice, practice. By taking lots of pictures of things that may seem mundane will sure to capture that special moment. The special school project, that extra special time with a newborn, or that special bit of toy or clothing that is an all time favorite.

So grab that camera and snap away. Capture those times that are so easily lost or forgotten. You’ll be glad you did.

Editor's note:

Sookie’s careful hand cutting of the patterned paper adds a wonderful 3-dimensional feel to the layout. Her layering of mixed patterned paper adds a depth and warmth that cannot be denied.

Handle with Care by Sookie Francisco.  Supplies: Paper: We are Memory Keepers, Alpha Stickers: American Crafts, Other: rick-rack.

Design note:

This layout is the last page in my friend's album that I scrapped while she was pregnant.

Complete by Christa Parker. Supplies: Paper: The Paper Studio, Cardstock: craft supply, Chipboard: Making Memories, Die cut letters: Cricut, Opposites Attract cartridge.

Journaling: Ava Rose 7.15.08

Design note:

All the stamping was done by inking my clear stamps with paint pens and then stamping with them. The designs on the chipboard petals are simply doodled with the same paint pens. This LO is based on a sketch from PageMaps.

Hello Kitty by Gina Johnson: Supplies: Paper: Daisy D's, Cardstock: The PaperChase, Chipboard: Stampin' Up!, Rub-ons: Created in Word, Stamps: Autumn Leaves Swirls, Distresser:  Making Memories,  Pen:  Signo, Other:  buttons.

Journaling: Sam gave you these kitty ears close to Easter and you wear them ALL the time. Pretty much anytime you see these EARS you grab them and ask someone to put them on for you. Personally I think you make a very cute little CAT! March 08.
